Senior Frontend Engineer with 8+ years building customer-facing web products across live commerce, payments, SaaS and marketplaces. At GetBee in Dubai, I lead frontend for a live video shopping platform used by brands to sell through 1:1 video. Highlights: → Rebuilt the client in React, Next.js and TypeScript in three months, enabling the company's first commercial sale and 11 clients → Led a phased migration from Agora to Azure Communication Services with Microsoft's ACS team, cutting the video rate 55% → Improved Core Web Vitals: LCP 3.9s → 2.4s, INP 450ms → 215ms → Built AI post-call insights with OpenAI and ACS transcriptions for sales teams → Cut CI build time from 40 to 17 minutes and introduced testing and quality gates → Hired and mentored engineers, and was promoted for leadership and delivery Before GetBee, I worked on payments at Pagos AI (network tokenization across Stripe, Braintree and Adyen), security dashboards on the Elastic Stack, and Angular e-commerce and booking products for Australian clients. Outside work, I designed and built Skills and Bids, a two-sided marketplace on Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL and AWS, covering everything from payments and payouts to chat and search. What I bring: - Frontend architecture, performance and accessibility - Real-time video (WebRTC, ACS) and AI-powered features - Testing and CI/CD (Jest, RTL, Cypress, Playwright, Azure DevOps, Docker) - Technical leadership: code review, mentoring, hiring and working closely with product and design Stack: React · Next.js · TypeScript · Node.js · NestJS · Tailwind · AWS · Azure Open to Senior Frontend Engineer and Frontend Lead roles in Dubai. 📩 motasimalibhatti@gmail.com | motasimali.com
